My advice is not to panic.Having been in this sector for fifteen years, I have always found that statutory bodies turn to us when there is a downturn. They will realise the value in what you offer and prefer that rather look for alternatives which will no doubt cost them more. Make sure you can demonstrate your value, keep relationships with councillors and your local MP’s, all the usual stuff.

Hiya Louise this is quite comforting to know in some ways - thank you. You’re absolutely right on value, you take out community transport in rural areas and passengers are completely stuck which only goes to increase waiting times and decreases NHS efficiency even further. I wish more people understood what we did I really do.

I read this morning that it looks like transport cuts are on the way …..Is anyone worried about this?
